Cuckoo Meadow Pre-School staff are all committed to providing the best care for your child. We are a highly qualified, experienced and professional team, we all have full Peadiatric First Aid training and Enhanced DBS certificates.
When each child starts at Cuckoo Meadow, they are joined up to a key person from our team who will work closely with you and your child to help them settle in, ensuring your child feels content and happy in our settings and their individual needs are met.
Mrs Fiona Cotterell
I have over 25 years experience and have co managed Cuckoo Meadow Pre School for 17 years, working previously as an assistant for a further 8 years.
I have a Foundation degree in early years education to level 5, plus further qualifications including first aid, safe guard training, behaviour training.
I am a mother to Emily and grandmother to little Isaac and when I’m not at work love spending days out with my family.

I have 25 years experience and am qualified with a Foundation degree in early years education to level 5. I have first aid training, safe guard training, behaviour training
I have co managed Cuckoo Meadow Pre School for 17 years, working previously as an assistant at Dummer Preschool and also in Germany. I have a family including my little grandson George who keeps me very busy outside school.
Fiona and I have been friends since we were aged 5 in Primary school!
mrS SAM KNIGHT
I have 15 years experience and am qualified in Early Years education to Level 3. I have first aid training and safe guard training.
I have a family, my daughter is 19 and we have a cocker spaniel called Rocco who keeps me walking for miles! I take an active part in village life and have lots of wonderful friends, I enjoy baking and have been told my chocolate cake is legendary.
Mrs Suzanne Chilvers Pre-School Assistant
I have over 20 years experience and am qualified in Early Years education to Level 4. I have first aid training and safe guard training.
I have a family, both of my young children are at North Waltham Primary School and I have lived in the village all my life. I enjoy shopping and eating out with friends and family.
Mrs Kat Andrews
I am a fully qualified Early Years Teacher, level 6, and have 7 years experience with Cuckoo Meadow Pre-School. I have first aid, safe guarding, behaviour management, and special educational needs training.
I am the SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator) for the Pre-School.
I have previously been the Chair person on the Pre-school management committee. Both my children have attended Cuckoo Meadow Pre School, so I have been involved with the school for many years – I loved it so much for my children I wanted to work here!
I am a keen walker and partake in a number of charity walks raising money for good causes.
