For Parents

Cuckoo Meadow recognises parents as the first and most important educators of their children. All of the staff see themselves as partners with parents in providing care and education for their children. There are many ways in which parents take part in making Pre-School a welcoming and stimulating place and we encourage parents who wish to stay and play!

Early collection

Can we please remind you that if you need to collect your child early from Pre-School you should come to the main door and ring the bell rather than opening up the gate and coming into the playground. This is to ensure the children’s safety.

Holiday bear

If you are planning a holiday in term time we would be grateful if you could give us plenty of notice. We have a holiday bear in pre-school who is very well travelled and is in need of a holiday, so please ask if he is available for you to take with you. The children love to take him away and he really is little bother.

Emails

We operate an email list for sending out information and updates to parents. If you would like to be included on this, please pass your email address to staff for addition to the list.
