A parent management committee – whose members are elected by the parents – manages Cuckoo Meadow. While the word Committee can sound very formal, it is actually just a group of Pre-School mums, dads and grandparents, who alongside the staff, support and manage the Pre-School. Its role is to ensure the continued success of Cuckoo Meadow – helping the staff to meet all of the many administrative demands placed on them, making decisions regarding the running of the Pre-School, and providing fundraising support.

The committee is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting, which is open to the parents of all the children who attend Pre-School. It takes place in the Autumn term.
