The visit from Millers Ark at the end of last week was a huge success. The children thoroughly enjoyed seeing the animals and brushing them. This activity was only made possible because of the generosity of our parents who gave voluntary contributions to preschool so thank you all it was a fantastic day enjoyed by all.

We would like to thank everyone for coming to the nativity on Saturday the children were absolutely brilliant (as usual). A huge thank you to all who helped out before, during and after the event.

There will be no preschool sessions on party day, which is Friday 16th December, the last day of term. Please arrive promptly at 11.00 am so the children don’t miss the entertainment we have arranged. You do not need to stay whilst the children enjoy the party and their lunch but if you would like to see the arrival of Father Christmas on a pony and trap you will need to come back to the pavilion at 1.00 pm again please be prompt. You are invited to come into the preschool to see the children receive their gift from Santa. Please ensure you bring a coat for your child to wear to witness Santa’s arrival but please do not bring in rucksacks due to the lack of space in the lobby.

If you have not already added your name to the party food list it can be found on the preschool cupboard door. When bringing in your plates of food please do not place it on a crockery plate, a paper plate is perfect and prevents the problem of marrying up plates to parents after the party. Thank you.

We will be collecting the children’s library books over the Christmas period and not issuing new ones until the new year.

If your child qualifies for funding after Christmas please ensure you have handed in your completed form to avoid an invoice being raised for the term. Thank you.
