Hello from Cuckoo Meadow at the end of another week. Just a few notes for you and a date change.
When picking up your child from pre-school at lunchtime we would appreciate a prompt pick up so that staff are able to join the children in the lunch club room to help the children to settle and unpack their lunch boxes. We would also ask that parents ensure that grapes and cherry tomatoes are cut in half to prevent choking.
Some of the children do not have a drinks bottle in their lunch boxes so please ensure your child brings in one bottle to access at any time throughout the day and another in their lunch box to drink at lunch time. Thank you.
As well as looking at the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme next week the children will be making Christmas cards! Yes we did say Christmas cards in September! The reason for an early start is that we send the cards to be printed so that they can be returned to us in good time for the festive season. Once the cards have been created by your children we will give them to you to look at so that you may place an order. The cards state the children’s names on the back and are beautiful and an ideal way of sending cards without fighting through the Christmas crowds!
The school photographer will be visiting now on Thursday 5th November and not the 12th November she will be taking pictures from 9 oclock onwards. If your child attends a Thursday session we will take your child to have their photograph taken, however if you would like them to be photographed with a sibling or you do not attend pre-school on a Thursday you need to book a time slot, more details to follow closer to the time.
That’s it for now have a great weekend.
