Hello from Cuckoo Meadow

We would like to say a huge thank you to our policeman dad who very kindly visited us on Wednesday morning with his police van.  The children really enjoyed exploring the inside of the van and trying on lots of different uniform.  We then came back into the warm for a question and answer session.  Some questions were more relevant than others!  Thank you again for taking the time out of your busy schedule the children learnt a lot.

Its that time of year again when Sainsburys are promoting the Get Active Kids vouchers, we collect them in pre-school so please remember us when doing the weekly shop and tell your friends and family too.  Over the years through this scheme we have acquired gazebos, ride on toys, stepping stones, bats and balls and many other pieces of equipment.  There is a collection box in the pre-school room to post your vouchers into.

We have now come to the end of our winter theme and are now looking at shapes.  When out with your child look out for shapes in the environment to further enhance their learning.

Just a reminder that in the case of bad weather i.e snow, we will contact you via parent mail to let you of any pre-school closures.

If you think your child is unwell please keep them at home to minimise the risk of infection, thank you.

That’s it for this week have a lovely weekend.

The Letter of the Week next week is S
