We hope you’ve all enjoyed the lovely sunshine this weekend – long may it continue. Lots of news to catch you all up on so here we go…

Fun Toddle

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the recent Fun Toddle. It was a fantastic afternoon and the children’s efforts deserve a huge round of applause. The fun on the day raised a magnificent £680 for Pre-School funds and there is of course the sponsorship money to add to the total. Your support is greatly appreciated and will enable Pre-School staff to maintain their resources and continue to provide the very best for the children.

We also must say a big thank you to everyone who helped on the day – those who helped set up and also clear up on the day; the Dads who managed the delicious BBQ; and everyone who contributed to the cake stall. THANK YOU!

If you have any sponsorship money to add to our magnificent total we’d be really grateful if you could bring it into Pre-School by Friday 27th June. We’ll hopefully be able to let you know the “grand total” very soon!

The staff have been working very hard to promote independence with the children so it would be really helpful if the children could come in footwear that they can easily take on and off themselves (eg. Velcro straps rather than laces). Please do also remember that Crocs are not suitable for Pre-School and shouldn’t be worn.

You will hopefully have noticed the poster advertising that our next Bags2School textile collection is taking place on Monday 30th June. Please bring any unwanted textiles into Pre-School next Monday ready for collection (any old bin bag will do!). We have had lots of success with this in the past so it would be great if we could provide another good van load and add more to this year’s fantastic fundraising total.

A quick reminder that no eggs or nuts should be brought into Pre-School as we have a child attending with a severe allergy to both.

Just a reminder for your diaries that the last day of term is Friday 18th July. This will be party day so there won’t be any Pre-School sessions. More details to follow soon.
