This week in Pre-School

This week the children have finished up looking at their cold climates topic. Fingers crossed this means the end of this wintry weather! They all made binoculars using some vinyl kindly donated by a parent and then went on an exciting exploration adventure looking for animals. You’ll be pleased to hear that nothing more challenging than birds and dogs were spotted on the meadow! The children also made penguin pencil holders and created some lovely large wall displays so keep your eyes open for them.

Please remember that Pre-School breaks for half term next Friday (14th February) returning on Monday 24th.

Parents evening will be on 20th March from 6pm. Please see your child’s key worker to book your slot.

Just to get ahead and get organised, please note for your diary that Pre-School will finish for Easter on Friday 4th April, returning on Tuesday 22nd April. Please also note that Pre-School will be closed for a staff training day on Friday 25th April.

Afternoon Tea

Please do try and come along to the afternoon tea on Wednesday (12th February) from 1.45pm. It would be great to see lots of new faces there – even if your child isn’t at Pre-School on Wednesday do still come along and bring them with you. As we’ve said before, we need your support throughout the year for our fundraising endeavours plus on this occasion there’s the bonus of a delicious cream tea thrown in! It’s just £2.50 a head and all for a good cause.a
