A big well done to all the children for their fantastic nativity play on Saturday. I’m sure all of those who were there would agree it was wonderful and the children did brilliantly. Huge thanks to all of the staff who worked so hard to make it go off without a hitch. Their time and effort is hugely appreciated and it’s another reminder of how lucky we are to have such a dedicated team. A very big thank also to members of the committee past and present who gave up their time to run the refreshments and the raffle, and last but not least many thanks to everyone who attended and supported the fundraising effort on the day. The raffle raised over £200 towards Pre-School funds which is a fantastic total.
Last week reminders
Just a quick reminder of the arrangements in place for the last week of term. Pre-School finishes on Thursday this week. There are no normal sessions on Friday, just the end of term party. If you do want your child to attend the party but haven’t yet bought a ticket, please could you let staff know ASAP so that numbers can be finalised. Please do also remember to have a look at the sign-up sheet on the cupboard door for party food contributions. There are still a few gaps to be filled.
The party starts at 11am so please do aim to be there promptly so that the entertainer can get entertaining! It is likely to be very difficult to park as North Waltham School has an end of term concert running at the same time so it may be worth factoring that in when planning your morning.
Thursday is the cut-off day for purchasing your child’s photograph as prints need to be returned to Tempest photography on Friday. Again, if you are intending to purchase, can you let staff know in the next day or so.
A very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you all. Pre-School opens again on 6th January and we look forward to seeing you all then.
