Another busy week has been and gone. You should have all now received letters about the upcoming Nativity play. If you can return your completed permission slip to staff as soon as possible we would be really grateful. Planning for the big day on 14th December is now well underway – please make sure you have it marked in your diary!
This week in Pre-School
The children enjoyed making scarecrows and autumnal leaf pictures this week. It served as a good reminder that the weather is now getting colder and damper so can you please make sure you send your child into Pre-School with appropriate outdoor clothing as staff do their best to ensure they all get outside for some fresh air each session.
A fantastic effort by all the children ensured that we raised a wonderful £50 for Children in Need. Thank you all for your support.
Apologies for the last minute change in arrangements this week. We have now managed to re-book our slot with Tempest Photography for Monday 2nd December. Photographs will be back in time for Christmas so perhaps a chance to get some personalised gifts. As before, if your child does not attend a Monday session and you would like a photograph taken please speak to staff about booking a slot.
Our collection day is coming up fast now. Hopefully you’ve all now received a bag to fill but of course do remember that any bin liner/plastic bag will do and the more the merrier. We raised over £200 last time and it would be fantastic to beat that total this time out. A good opportunity for a pre-Christmas clear-out perhaps!
Watch this space for details of a New Year parent social. After the success of our last visit to the skittle alley at The Northbrook Arms we thought it might be fun to plan a repeat visit. We’ll get details out ASAP.
