This first term seems to be disappearing quickly. Just another 2 weeks before we break for half-term! Lots more to report from Pre-School this week…

This week in Pre-School

Christmas came early in Pre-School this week with the children all producing some lovely sparkly pictures ready to be sent away and turned into cards and gift tags. You should have all received order forms which need to be returned to Pre-School by 16th October in order that we can meet the printer’s deadline. For all packs ordered we receive a donation to Pre-School funds so it’s a real win-win proposition!

As well as creating their cards, the children were busy at the arts and crafts table making rockets to include all of the shapes they have been learning about in the last few weeks. Make sure to keep an eye out in Pre-School for your child’s picture. The children made sure to make the most of the last of the clear skies with lots of outside shape games, camping games and trips to the park. Prospects for more of the same in the coming week are not looking good! That said, they are more than able to come up with creative indoor games – Friday’s attendees had a whale of a time practising their nursing skills, administering injections and writing out prescriptions for all the staff!

The letter for the coming week is “G”.

Last reminder (honestly!) – the AGM is taking place on Thursday. Be there or be square!

Remember that Pre-School breaks for half-term on Friday 25th October.
