This week in Pre-School
Another busy week flew by in Pre-School with lots more shape-based activities. The children all made the most of the opportunity to get outside and play in the open air before the really autumnal weather strikes. They are all starting to get the hang of Pre-School routines – learning how snack time works, helping to tidy up when the bells are chimed, remembering the days of the week rhyme.
Do remember that if you would like to see some of these routines for yourself at first-hand you are always very welcome to come along and help out at a Pre-School session. There is a parent rota on the back door where you can sign up. All of the children always really enjoy it when a parent comes to help!
Thank you to those of you who did manage to make it along to the coffee morning on Friday. If you didn’t make it this time, hopefully you can pop in to a future event.
AGM and parents’ evening
Hopefully you all have it firmly in your diary but a quick reminder that it will be the Pre-School AGM on Thursday 17th October from 8pm. As mentioned previously, there will be a chance to talk to your child’s key worker after the meeting – if you are intending on taking up this opportunity it would be really helpful if you could let Mrs Cotterell or Mrs Harman know so that they can get an idea of numbers.
Letter of the week
The letter this week is “E”.
That’s all for now. Hope you enjoy what is left of the weekend!
